Public Transportation MBTA:

By Orange Line:

Take the Orange line to the Sullivan Sq MBTA station.  cross under I-93; Mount Vernon is the left side of Broadway.

 

By Red Line:

Take the Red Line train to the Downtown Crossing stop. Change to the Orange Line toward Oak Grove.  Take the Orange line to the Sullivan Sq MBTA station.  cross under I-93; Mount Vernon is the left side of Broadway.

By Blue Line (including Logan Airport):

Take the Blue Line Train to the Stat Street stop. Change to the Orange Line toward Oak Grove.  Take the Orange line to the Sullivan Sq MBTA station.  cross under I-93; Mount Vernon is the left side of Broadway.

By Green Line:

 

Take the Green Line to North Station.  Change to the Orange Line toward Oak Grove.  Take the Orange line to the Sullivan Sq MBTA station.  cross under I-93; Mount Vernon is the left side of Broadway. 

 

By air:

Logan Airport is located about 8.5 miles from the Mt. Vernon Rest/Pub. A taxi costs about $25 and takes from a half-hour to an hour, depending on traffic. The subway from the airport takes about a half hour.
